Mrs. Rachel R. Lloyd is a License Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia as well as the State of New Jersey. She is an AASECT board certified sex therapist. She received her Specialist Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from The College of New Jersey in Ewing Township, NJ; Her Master’s Degree in Agency Counseling from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ; Special Education Certification from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education from Albany State University in Albany, GA. She recently retired from public education after 30 years of service. She taught special education for 19 years and was an elementary school counselor for 11 years. She received the KISS FM Phenomenal Woman Award for her work and dedication to students at risk. She was awarded the Governor’s Teacher of the Year Award, Sampson G. Smith Middle School. Recently, she was honored by the AWWIN Incorporation as one of the honorees of the top 10 Outstanding Working Woman 2014 award, Savannah, GA. She has provided pre-marital and couple/family counseling for her church. She provided short-term in home counseling for at-risk students and their families as part of the Child and Family Solutions Services. She is married with four adult children.
